Moriah received a Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Western Ontario in 2021, a Master of Human Kinetics at Laurentian University in 2018, and a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education with a specialization in Health Promotion in 2014. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
She has various experiences in public health, strength and conditioning, academic research and teaching that span multiple sectors. Her area of research focused largely on early motor development and children’s engagement in sport and physical activity.
Moriah has worked with both elite and recreational athletes in a variety of sports and leagues including the OHL, BC Rugby, and OUA basketball and track and field. She has additional emergency medical training and assists with on-field medical coverage and player rehabilitation.
These experiences have led Moriah to gain an invaluable appreciation for physical activity across the lifespan and she enjoys working with a wide array of populations, including older adults, paediatrics and everyone in between.
